Inclement Weather Policy

Please be prepared with an alternative childcare plan in case of inclement weather.

When the Mount Horeb Area School District (MHASD) is closed due to inclement weather, Children’s Community School (CCS) will also be closed.

When MHASD has a two hour delay, CCS will open at 9:30am. There will be no bussing available for 4K children if there is a 2 hour delay, but 4K children are welcome to attend their respective classes.

If MHASD closes early, CCS will close early. Please try to arrive to pick up your children before the public school closing time. For example, if MHASD closes at 2pm, please pick up your children before 2pm. Unexpected schedule changes can be difficult for young children; rest assured we will keep your children safe and calm until your arrival.
