Dana Leigh is the 4K teacher for the Red Class and joined the Children’s Community School staff in 2018. Dana graduated from UW-Platteville with a B.S. in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood Education. She has experience teaching at children’s centers including the Head Start in Sparta, Wisconsin. Dana is CPR and First Aid certified through the American Red Cross. Dana enjoys reading, working outside, and hanging out with her friends and family. She and her husband, Zach, enjoy taking their dog for walks, fishing, rooting on the Badgers, berry picking in the woods, and taste testing new recipes.
One of my favorite things about teaching is seeing the “a-ha” look on their faces when they learn something new. They are so excited about what they’ve learned and want to show their work off to the world because they’re so proud of it.
